As General Counsel at Adform, my role goes far beyond legal risk management – it is about building resilience, driving strategic growth, and embedding ESG into the core of Adform’s business. In today’s fast-moving global landscape, I focus on staying ahead of risks, aligning legal, privacy, and ESG strategies with business goals, and working closely with our executive leadership team to make a real impact.

One recent challenge was navigating global sanctions, which required us to reassess our approach in light of shifting macroeconomic conditions. Similarly, the proposed amendments to the CSRD (Omnibus proposals) meant we had to quickly adapt our ESG strategy to stay ahead. In short, my role is about ensuring that risks don’t turn into roadblocks—but rather, opportunities for smart, proactive decision-making.

Recently, Adform made a major move into the retail media space – an exciting expansion that required rethinking our legal framework and processes from the ground up. My team and I worked on structuring contracts, partnerships, and reseller agreements to ensure this new business area is built for global, scalable growth. It has been a dynamic process, requiring strategic negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and a long-term vision for how we set ourselves up for success.

Sustainability is not just a buzzword – it is a core part of how we operate. As the global lead on ESG at Adform, I bridge legal frameworks with real-world impact. Whether it is integrating ESG principles into governance, contracts, and compliance, or ensuring transparency in our reporting, I work to embed sustainability into our daily operations. A key focus is responsible sourcing and carbon reduction, aligned with our Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments. By 2025, we will have near-term emission reduction targets in place, reinforcing our responsibility in this space.

A strong team is a diverse one. I am proud to lead a department that is nearly a 50/50 gender split and represents four different nationalities – because different perspectives lead to better decisions. Beyond the numbers, my focus is on fostering an inclusive culture where every team member has equal opportunities for growth, collaboration, and leadership development.
