Eva Maria Ramirez is a senior legal manager with over two decades of experience in the energy sector, distinguished by a robust track record in commercial and industrial contracts, litigation, and legal leadership across multiple geographies. Currently serving as Head of Legal for Asia-Pacific Middle East (APME) and VP Legal Singapore at TotalEnergies Marketing Asia-Pacific, Eva coordinates all legal activities across the region, including advisory, contracts, litigation, joint ventures, M&A, and governance. Eva manages a core team of four lawyers in Singapore and oversees a broader legal network of more than 20 legal counsels across APME affiliates, while also coordinating the “One TotalEnergies One Legal Singapore” initiative, uniting 20 lawyers from different TotalEnergies branches.

Eva’s leadership journey within TotalEnergies spans several roles. From 2022 to 2024, Eva was VP Legal for TotalEnergies Belgian branches, and concurrently Head of Litigation, Commercial & Industrial Contracts from 2017 to 2024. In these roles, Eva led a multicultural team of eight lawyers across Paris and Brussels, directly supporting technical and business units in managing litigation and negotiating a wide range of contracts. Her portfolio included sales and purchase agreements, NDAs, logistics contracts (storage, chartering, rail, pipeline), service agreements, and guarantees. Eva also played a key role in contract management for major projects such as the Grandpuits reconversion and green hydrogen initiatives.

Eva’s international experience is further enriched by her tenure in the United States as a Trading Lawyer at Atlantic Trading & Marketing Inc (2009–2013), where she advised on trading contracts and claims. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade in Paris with TotalEnergies Trading Shipping (2000–2009), as a legal counsel drafting and negotiating trading and logistics agreements.

Her legal foundation was built through a postgraduate degree in Maritime Law from the University of Bretagne Occidentale (France) and a Bachelor’s in Law from the University of Extremadura (Spain). Eva was admitted to the Bar in Badajoz, Spain, in 2004.

Multilingual in Spanish (native), French, and English, Eva brings a global perspective to legal strategy. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a certified health coach, yoga enthusiast, and active volunteer supporting end-of-life care. She also co-presided over the Belgian women network from 2020 to 2024, advocating for inclusion and diversity.
