Career biography

An experienced legal executive and trusted business partner, with over 20 years of experience across the building materials, industrial, and financial sectors, I have developed strong expertise in M&A, litigation management, intellectual property, corporate and securities law, corporate governance, and compliance.

I currently serve as General Counsel and member of the Executive Committee for Saint-Gobain’s Northern Europe Region, covering the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Nordics and Baltics, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Central Europe. In this role, I work closely with general managers and operational teams across the construction, infrastructure, distribution, and industrial solutions sectors to manage risk and drive value creation, while ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and Saint-Gobain’s ethics and values.

As a business-oriented legal partner, my team and I provide comprehensive legal and compliance support to the region’s countries and business units, with a strong focus on M&A, litigation management, intellectual property, corporate and commercial law, anti-dumping proceedings, corporate governance, and compliance (antitrust, anti-bribery, trade). In 2024, the Northern Europe Region generated approximately €12 billion in revenue.

From 2021 to July 2025, I also served as General Counsel and member of the Executive Committee of Saint-Gobain’s High-Performance Solutions Division, supporting six business units — Mobility, Performance Polymer Solutions, Ceramics, Abrasives, Construction Chemicals, and Construction Fabrics — all centred on green industry, innovation, and co-development. This division achieved a turnover of €10 billion in 2024.

I represent Saint-Gobain on the boards of subsidiaries and joint ventures, including listed entities.

In addition, I served for five years (2019–2024) as a member of the Enforcement Committee of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), adjudicating cases related to insider trading, market manipulation, financial communication, and compliance with professional obligations by investment service providers.

Earlier in my career, I spent nearly a decade at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, as a member of the Paris Bar, advising listed and private companies on large-cap and mid-cap M&A transactions, IPOs, financing, restructuring, and regulatory matters.

I hold Master’s degrees from Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne and ESSEC Business School, and also participated in the MBA programme at Duke University (North Carolina, USA). I remain actively involved in both alumni and professional associations.
