To ensure legal effectiveness in digital transformation processes, it is essential that lawyers actively participate in these processes in order to empower themselves in their advisory role and overcome the challenges inherent in cultural change.

It is also key to ensure due diligence throughout the transformation process from an interdisciplinary approach, align technologies with the strategic objectives of the legal department and, finally, establish key management indicators to measure results and risks.

Throughout my professional experience, I have identified that legal departments have evolved into strategic business partners. This approach seeks to strengthen preventive compliance from the process design phase, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and rely on new technological tools, with the aim of ensuring the sustainability and permanence of businesses over time.
