Born in Bogota, Colombia, Carolina Forero Isaza graduated from Universidad de Los Andes Law School. She has a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a graduate diploma on Environmental Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia; she has also attended studies in Business at the Javeriana University.

After working for several years in some of the most admired law firms in Colombia, she began her journey in the innovation pharmaceutical industry and, for the past ten years, has been part of the Johnson & Johnson Law Department, with roles increasing in responsibility. She is currently Senior Legal Director for Latin America North, Central America and the Caribbean and, with her team, she contributes to making J&J products available for patients in these geographies.
