Sophie Li leads the Legal function for Johnson Matthey in China, serving as Head of Legal, China across all business units and corporate functions. With over a decade of experience in corporate and commercial law, Sophie began her career in leading law firms in the UK and China before moving in-house. She holds an LL.M. in International Economic Law from the University of Edinburgh and is recognised for translating complex legal frameworks into practical business strategies.
At Johnson Matthey, Sophie has helped reshape the role of in-house counsel as strategic business partners.
