Career Biography

Over the past year, I have led and advised on several complex legal transactions and strategic initiatives within the Kingdom’s dynamic development and investment landscape. As Assistant Manager of Legal Affairs at New Murabba Development Company, I play a vital role in reviewing and validating high-value corporate and real estate agreements. My work ensures full legal compliance while safeguarding the company’s strategic interests across one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious urban development projects under Vision 2030. 

In my previous role as Head of Legal Affairs at Riyadh Holding Company, I directed the legal function during a critical period of organisational expansion. I provided high-level legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation. I also played an active role in aligning legal operations with executive strategy — ensuring that every transaction or advisory input supported long-term business objectives. My leadership style emphasised cross-functional collaboration and agility in responding to complex legal and commercial challenges. 

During my tenure at Hamat Holding Company, I played a leading legal role in a major real estate development project in Makkah with an investment worth over SAR 2.7bn. This high-profile transaction required a deep understanding of real estate, commercial, and regulatory frameworks to protect the company’s interests and drive the project forward. I also advised on multiple M&A transactions and led the drafting and negotiation of a share sale agreement worth SAR 97.5m. In addition to transaction-related work, I managed the legal affairs of the holding company’s subsidiaries, offering strategic advice on corporate law, internal governance, and legal compliance. I also led and developed the legal team, ensuring a high-performance, accountable, and business-aligned function. 

From my experience, successful collaboration with business partners depends on trust, transparency, and strategic alignment. Legal teams must be integrated early into business discussions — not only to ensure compliance, but also to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance decision-making. When legal counsel acts as a proactive business partner, it contributes directly to long-term value and growth. 

Motivating and managing a legal team starts with setting clear expectations and creating a culture of continuous learning. I focus on empowering team members, offering mentorship, and aligning their contributions with broader company goals. I believe that high-performing legal teams are built through trust, development, and a shared commitment to excellence. 

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from King Saud University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Corporate Governance & Public Policy. I have also completed the Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and earned a certificate in Leadership from the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). These programs have enhanced my leadership impact, strategic perspective, and ability to lead in complex, high-stakes environments.
