With more than twenty five years of distinguished legal leadership, I have built a career spanning corporate law, private equity, cross border transactions, governance, and complex dispute management. My work covers multiple jurisdictions, including India, the United States, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Mauritius, and the United Kingdom. I have consistently supported Boards, Fund and Investment Managers, Chief Executives, and senior leadership teams in making strategic, high impact decisions, and have led legal strategy for raising more than a billion dollars across investments, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and international disputes.

I have played pivotal roles in devising legal strategies for business transformation, growth enablement, and enterprise value protection across industries such as telecom, information technology, private equity, agri technology, and fast moving consumer goods. My responsibilities have included leading group level legal strategy with direct Board accountability, steering major restructurings, enabling large scale fundraising, strengthening governance, and building comprehensive risk and compliance frameworks.

My experience includes managing equity and debt raises, executing strategic acquisitions end to end, expanding and protecting international intellectual property portfolios, and guiding legal strategy for advanced technology initiatives. Over fourteen years in a sector agnostic private equity fund, I executed numerous cross border investments, complex exits, multi jurisdictional disputes, and environmental, social and governance implementation aligned with international standards. My other corporate roles deepened my expertise in global contracting, regulatory compliance, employment law, and large scale operational governance. I began my career in private practice, representing corporate clients in litigation and arbitration.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s in Law, a Bachelor’s in Corporate Secretaryship, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Finance). I am certified as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Chartered Trust and Estate Planner, World Intellectual Property Organisation intellectual property professional, Associate Business Continuity Professional (Singapore), and Internal Assessor for the Tata Business Excellence Model. My work has been recognised in Forbes India’s Top Fifty General Counsels Powerlist 2022, the Legal Five Hundred Powerlist 2023 and 2024, and through the Lex Falcon Global Award 2023.

I am also committed to community impact, having conceptualised CLAPS, one of India’s first exclusive residential communities for families with children with special needs, an Inclusive Community Living Model for such families, and authored a book titled Special Needs Letter of Intent, A Practical Toolkit, one of India’s first comprehensive works on this subject.
