Kanika is the Head of Legal for the India Subcontinent at Haleon India (formerly known as GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare), where she leads the legal, secretarial, and compliance function, providing strategic support across the company’s operations in the Subcontinent.

She has over 20 years’ experience across sectors including finance, telecoms, beverages, aviation, and consumer healthcare. During her career she has led complex transactions and handled high-stakes litigation, including notable matters in the field of competition law, IndiGo’s IPO, the divestment of the nutrition business to HUL, the separation from GlaxoSmithKline, the establishment of the Global Capability Centre for Haleon, and the creation of Haleon India’s independent distribution and sales model. She has also driven innovation within the legal function, pioneering legal tech initiatives to deliver efficiency and simplification.

Kanika is widely regarded for her ability to combine strategic business partnership with rigorous regulatory and compliance leadership.
