Forthnet introduced Greece to internet and pay-tv and is now the largest provider of bundled home entertainment and communication services in the country. Amongst the company’s 1,200 employees is legal counsel – corporate, legal and regulatory executive director Anastasios Sfyroeras, who was appointed to the position in January 2016.

Since then he’s headed the Forthnet legal function and overseen its most important projects. To this end he was heavily involved in the company’s much-publicised early termination of collective agreements, which includes the grant of TV rights, with SuperLeague, the organising authority of Greece’s premier professional football championship.
