Mr Niu is the Head of the Legal and Compliance Department at China Coal Construction Group Limited Corporation. He leads the legal team in handling hundreds of energy and construction disputes each year. He possesses extensive litigation and arbitration experience in the energy and construction sectors and has achieved strong results in well-known domestic arbitration institutions, including the Beijing Arbitration Commission and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. Mr Niu has led the company’s legal team to build a compliance system for central enterprises, establish a lawyer cooperation database and evaluation system, and integrate legal and supervisory processes.

At the same time, as Legal Director of a traditional energy enterprise, he has taken the initiative to explore AI tools. Based on the business characteristics of China Coal Construction Group Limited Corporation, he has promoted intelligent legal services as the back-office support for the entire company.
