Focus on… 

Adam Jacobs is a senior corporate counsel and company secretary for QUBE Holdings Limited (QUBE). QUBE is a top 100 ASX-listed company and Australia’s largest integrated provider of import and export logistics services. QUBE also has operations in New Zealand and South-East Asia. 

Reporting to the general counsel, Adam manages a team comprising two corporate counsel and two paralegals and company secretarial assistants. With the assistance of his team, he provides legal and compliance services across QUBE’s corporate and operating divisions, including in respect of major asset and infrastructure development and project governance, property, contract drafting, tendering and negotiation, competition, M&A and joint ventures, dispute resolution and intellectual property. Adam has broad regulatory compliance and risk management experience and also manages QUBE’s corporate governance and company secretarial functions. 

Adam’s previous role was legal counsel, Asia Pacific (APAC) for Cristal Global (acquired by Tronox in 2019), a mineral sands miner and titanium dioxide products manufacturer. In that role he provided legal services across all areas of APAC business operations including contracts, logistics, property, government and regulatory compliance, disputes, intellectual property, and employment. He also has significant private practice experience culminating in his role as a senior associate in the corporate and commercial practice group in the Sydney office of global law firm K&L Gates.
