What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Lately, the main issues the business has had to face are related to supply. I am involved in ensuring that the antitrust regulations are followed and also, that P&G complies with governmental pricing programmes in place. To avoid legal risks, it is imperative that the organisation be trained regularly and thoroughly, as well as making sure that, if a situation arises that may be uncompliant, it should be brought to legal as soon as possible to design a strategy and eventually execute a remediation process. I have also been involved in a new distributor operations programme with guidelines and processes that strengthen our stewardship and go-to market approach.

How much influence do you, as a general counsel, have on the diversity and inclusions policies of your organisation?

I have the privilege of working in a company that fosters diversity and inclusion; the Argentina leadership team has a majority of female executives. This is a result of years of deliberate choices that enabled women to have the opportunity to grow in their careers. It is within our culture to respect each other and value our differences. As a general counsel, I have the possibility to analyse and comment on policies, processes and projects, and I always make sure that they are aligned to our values.
