With 13 years of experience at Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) Denis Khrenov, acting general director Ukraine, leads the legal and corporate affairs function at the international beer brewing giant’s operations in Ukraine. The team deftly handles risk and crisis management, legal consulting, litigation, tax, IP, and external counsel management for the group. It specialises in contract management, licenses and permits, compliance, organisational structure management, as well as government affairs, public relations, the group’s sustainability platform and corporate social responsibility. The team therefore has a corporate communications and reputational role including brand PR, external communications, and consumer communication. AB InBev operates under the name SUN InBev in Ukraine and has three breweries: Chernihiv, Yantar in Mykolayiv, Rogan in Kharkiv, and seven sales and distribution branches across the country, with a regional headquarters in Kiev. It produces some of the most popular beers in Ukraine including the country’s first “eco-beer”, Chernigivske, Ukraine’s most popular local beer.
