Headquartered in El Salvador, Unicomer Group is a multinational retailing group founded in 2000 that has grown exponentially in short space of time through a number of strategic acquisitions of store chains. Its legal team is headed by corporate legal manager Federico Diaz who is supported by corporate lawyer Mario Martinez-Varela and legal adviser Rosibel Molina in El Salvador as well as a litigation paralegal in Belize. In recent years, the team has been recognised for assisting the company in opening a number of new stores for its portfolio of brands in Aruba, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Paraguay, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago. With many of these developments representing Unicomer’s entry into a new domestic market, the activities of the department have played a significant role in maintaining Unicomer’s unwavering upward growth trajectory.
