A member of the capital markets and securities regulation and corporate governance practice groups, New York-based partner Boris Dolgonos has over 20 years’ experience advising issuers and underwriters – ranging from public and private corporations, investment banks and other financial institutions to sovereign entities – across a wide range of financing transactions, including IPOs, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, and privatisations. His past mandates include advising BCP Securities, Jefferies and Morgan Stanley on a $400m senior notes issue by Mexican media-heavyweight TV Azteca; acting for major Mexican conglomerate Grupo Kuo on its $450m, international senior notes offering; and assisting Maxcom Telecomunicaciones with its tender offer to purchase up to $25m of its outstanding step-up senior notes.

Dolgonos co-chairs the board of directors of the International Senior Lawyers Project, a not-for-profit entity that provides pro bono legal assistance to governments and civil society organisations in developing countries.
