Career Biography
Rodolfo Aranda is a senior legal executive with more than 18 years of experience advising multinationals on M&A, capital-markets transactions, compliance, and corporate governance across Mexico and Latin America.
As Corporate Legal Director at Genomma Lab Internacional, he oversees legal and compliance operations in 18 countries, guiding a listed multinational in the pharmaceutical and personal-care industries. His leadership combines legal rigor with commercial acumen, ensuring that corporate strategy, governance, and regulatory compliance operate in alignment with business priorities.
Rodolfo has played a pivotal role in Genomma Lab’s financial and corporate evolution. He led the legal structuring of bond issuances exceeding USD 300 million, negotiated a USD 60 million multi-country facility with the IFC, and structured a USD 100 million credit facility with the Inter-American Development Bank and the IFC, which financed the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Toluca. Beyond finance, he oversees M&A and strategic development projects and has closed transactions exceeding USD 20 million, as well as corporate-governance and compliance programs that have strengthened transparency, shareholder protection, and ESG performance.
Before joining Genomma Lab, Rodolfo spent more than a decade at Grupo Lala, one of Latin America’s largest food companies. There, he oversaw cross-border legal operations for Mexico, Central America, and the U.S., managed a regional team of lawyers, and played a key role in the company’s USD 1.1 billion IPO, supporting transaction documentation, disclosure, and regulatory compliance. He also advised on M&A projects exceeding USD 600 million, facilitating expansion and integration across North and Central America.
Rodolfo also serves as Alternate Secretary of the Board of Directors and alternate member of the Ethics Committee at Genomma Lab, providing governance counsel that informs executive-level decision-making. Recognized for his ethical leadership and collaborative approach, he is valued for his ability to translate complex regulation into practical business strategy.
He holds an LL.M. in U.S. Law from Washington University in St. Louis and a Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Rodolfo views legal work not merely as risk management but as a catalyst for smart, ethical, and sustainable growth.
