Career Biography

I am a seasoned corporate lawyer with over 17 years of expertise in corporate law, litigation, and commercial advisory across the IT and retail sectors. I serve as Director – Assistant General Counsel at Nike India, leading the organisation’s nationwide legal, regulatory, and compliance strategy. In this role, I partner closely with senior leadership to enable informed decision-making, advise on legal aspects of commercial opportunities, mitigate enterprise-wide risks, and support Nike India’s continued growth and market leadership. I manage litigation and external counsel relationships, drive compliance programs, and ensure alignment with statutory requirements and industry best practices.

I bring extensive experience in litigation management, strategic regulatory advisory, and end-to-end contract lifecycle oversight, including the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements. I am adept at identifying emerging legal risks, ensuring compliance through audits, and implementing frameworks that support operational excellence and regulatory requirements.

By staying ahead of regulatory developments and understanding the nuances of business operations, I ensure that legal considerations are seamlessly integrated into strategic planning while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
