Career Biography
A former lawyer and consular judge at the Paris Commercial Court, Laure Lavorel is an in-house lawyer, and since November 2018 the International Legal Director of the Broadcom group.
A pioneer in the field of new technologies and a specialist in international law, she was a lecturer at the University of Paris-Dauphine. Anxious to animate networks of jurists, lawyers, judges and academics, and to nurture the links between all the professions in the service of Law, she is president of the CNAM foundation, honorary president of the Cercle Montesquieu, administrator of the Society of Comparative Legislation, member of the scientific committee of the Badinter Institute, vice-president of ECLA (European Company Lawyer Association), representative of the Swiss Association of Corporate Lawyers (ASJE) and member of the Board of the Geneva International Legal Association (GILA)
All of its actions are driven by the need to serve the law by promulgating a strong and united commitment of the professions, convinced that economic development, secure trade and access to justice go hand in hand, and that they constitute the essential leaven in the fight against poverty and discrimination.
She is a Knight of the Legion of Honor in recognition of her many actions in favour of Justice.
