Elizabeth has over 14 years’ extensive experience as an advocate and head of legal, specialising in corporate affairs, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, strategic leadership, legal recoveries, receivership, corporate governance, and board advisory. Her career is distinguished by a proven track record of delivering results in complex legal environments and spearheading initiatives that mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

She is currently the legal and business integrity director at Serengeti Breweries, a subsidiary of East African Breweries (EABL). Her role covers board management, corporate security, regulatory compliance, legal advisory, risk management, and internal controls. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Elizabeth sponsors the company’s Spirited Women Network, a female-led initiative that promotes career advancement and creates opportunities for personal development.

Within the legal field, Elizabeth has held significant roles at Bank of Africa Tanzania (BOA) and United Bank for Africa Tanzania (UBA), where she oversaw critical legal functions and achieved notable success in managing complex legal portfolios.

She holds a certificate to practise as a notary public and commissioner for oaths in Tanzania from the High Court of Tanzania. She is also a graduate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA UK), and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, the East African Law Society, and the Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT).
