Bio
Corporate lawyer with over 17 years of experience in the financial sector, specialising in banking law, monetary and financial regulation, and structuring corporate financing transactions. She currently serves as legal manager at Banco Múltiple Promerica in the Dominican Republic, leading the corporate banking legal team and actively participating in the negotiation of complex contracts, the design of innovative financial products, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout her career, she has held strategic positions in renowned banking institutions in the Dominican Republic, serving as senior contract and guarantee lawyer, corporate finance legal specialist, and Legal Consulting Specialist. In these positions, she participated in key processes related to the formalisation of guarantees, the drafting and review of contractual documentation, the structuring of credit operations, legal and regulatory advice, litigation management, the negotiation of strategic agreements, and the execution of high-impact corporate projects.
She holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Banking and Fintech from the European School of Management and a Master’s Degree in Banking and Financial Law from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Her profile is complemented by extensive training in Special Contracts, Monetary Regulation, Trusts, LegalTech, Blockchain, User Protection and Financial Innovation, acquired through diploma courses and specialised courses at national and international institutions.
She is currently studying a programme on Strategic Leadership and Banking Management for Executives at Barna Management School, strengthening his skills in decision-making, high-performance team management, organisational transformation and alignment of the legal function with corporate strategy.
Her main achievements include the implementation of improvements in internal legal processes, the structuring of high-impact corporate financing operations, the documentation of digital and innovative banking products, participation in digital transformation processes, and cross-functional legal advice in areas such as business, treasury, finance, marketing, and risk. She has led legal training initiatives for commercial teams and has actively contributed to the documentation of internal procedures and policies. In 2025, she was recognised at Banco Promerica with the Estrella CIA award for modelling the culture of proximity, innovation and agility.
