Silvia Martinucci joined automobile maker Peugeot Citroën Argentina in 2000 as legal director. In 2010 the company reorganised and unified its operations in Latin America and Martinucci became responsible for legal affairs in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Chile. In addition to dealing with legal issues related to various different business divisions across four countries, Martinucci also coordinates with the company’s global headquarters. Nominators strongly praised Martinucci’s ability to cope with the wide range of legal issues that come across her desk and commented on ‘the respect she commands among senior figures within the company’. Recently, she led on the internal aspects of the incorporation of Peugeot Citroën Argentina Compañía de Seguros, a new insurance provider that will offer general asset protection insurance products to Peugeot’s clients in Argentina.
