Career Biography

Andrzej is a qualified attorney with vast experience in both private practice, and in-house legal teams.

He currently is a legal director at Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Operations Law team.

Andrzej joined PMI in 2012 as Senior Counsel and since then had been responsible for legal support to the European Union, Latin America & Canada, and Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa regions within Illicit Trade Prevention legal team. He subsequently moved cross-functionally to lead one of PMI’s major External Affairs regulatory workstreams, to then assume his current role as an attorney supporting a major part of PMI’s Operations, including Sustainability, Global Security, Leaf, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

Before joining PMI, Andrzej worked in top US and UK law firms’ regulatory and litigation departments.

Andrzej holds LL.M. in Law, and Executive MBA (IMD) degrees, allowing him to provide business-centric legal advice.

He prefers to spend free time outdoors, in the Valais Alps with his family.
