Career Biography
Milene Nuñez is a distinguished lawyer with nearly ten years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated deep expertise in regulatory matters, government affairs, and strategic legal advisory, specialising in addressing complex legal challenges within this sector. She currently serves as the head of regulatory affairs and government relations at Valero Peru, a key fuel importer in the country.
In her role at Valero Peru, Nuñez provides comprehensive support to the company regarding its operations in various cities across the country, particularly in its businesses involving supply plants, wholesale distributors, and aviation fuel marketers. Her work focuses on ensuring that operations comply with local regulatory frameworks, optimising efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all business areas.
