What are the projects that you are most proud of working on over the past 12 months?
Merger and acquisitions of 14 firms, mostly fintechs, and their integration into our technological ecosystem at ITTI, the main Paraguayan software provider, responsible for half of the financial core software operating within the Paraguayan financial system.

· Based on your experiences in the past year, are there any trends in the legal or business world, specific to Paraguay, that you are keeping an eye on that you think other in-house lawyers should be mindful of?
Trends to acquire and integrate fintechs set out key intellectual property issues that must be taken into account before and during the merger process, not just afterwards. An expert view from the perspective of copyright, patent, and classified technical or commercial information law is not only necessary but fundamental.

· What are some key attributes every in-house lawyer should possess?
Flexibility derived from humility to acknowledge one’s own academic, professional, and human limitations.
