What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past 12 months?

I have been working on global legal tech projects, including the implementation of an enterprise legal management system (still ongoing). In terms of customer projects, I have been advising on projects related to grid technologies and on projects dealing with energy-efficient solutions for marine and oil and gas customers.

What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess?

Knowing the products as well as the industries you are operating in. Being curious and able to make timely decisions. Run a state-of-the art legal department and make use of legal tech where it makes sense.

What is a cause, business or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I am passionate about the energy transition to a more sustainable world.
