Career biography
Eric is Director of Regulatory (Mobility & Delivery) and Antitrust Litigation at Uber Technologies, Inc. He manages regulatory legal issues for the Eastern United States and advises on antitrust litigation worldwide. Before taking over the Regulatory team, Eric was Director of Litigation and Global Competition at Uber, in which role he counseled the business on competition law issues, advised on mergers and acquisitions, and directed antitrust litigation for the company. Prior to joining Uber, Eric served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, was in private practice in New York and Austin, and clerked for the Hon. P. Kevin Castel in the US District Court for the Southern District of NY. Eric is a frequent speaker on issues including the confluence of antitrust law and technology, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section’s State Enforcement Committee as well as serving on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section.
