What innovations have you made to the way your legal team works in the past year?

I’ve put in place new legal ways of working model and simplification procedures associated with standardisations, in many instances increasing autonomy, risk management and efficiency.

 Based on your experience, what is the key to collaborating successfully with business partners?

Without a doubt, being onboarded at a very early stage on projects and collaborating at every step, hand in hand with a very keen understanding of the business and its needs, a strategic view and a can-do attitude.

Are the effects of AI on the legal world overplayed, or underplayed?

 I believe that the effects of AI are largely underplayed, since I consider it a revolution comparable to the industrial revolution that is making a tremendous change to the world and the future of humanity. Therefore the legal world should embrace the change and be ready for what it brings in terms of opportunities and challenges.
