Managing legal matters during periods of instability or crisis requires a structured and well-consolidated legal team whose values are fully aligned with those of the organisation. It is essential to clearly understand the triggers or circumstances behind the instability, and to determine whether they arise from internal or external factors.

At the same time, it is crucial, as a company lawyer, to remain focused on the company’s core business and to approach each situation with a strong financial perspective, while simultaneously, from a legal standpoint, minimizing risks as much as possible in every transaction or negotiation.

What are the major cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?

Leading the company’s financial operations from the legal side, including the onboarding of new partners such as investment funds, as well as developing corporate strategies for restructuring the business group, among other key initiatives.

I have also managed the legal changes required by various law reforms that impact our daily operations, working closely with different areas (operations, commercial, finance, and others) to ensure the successful achievement of our objectives.

Twenty years of experience working in law firms and service companies, including Interjet and Iké Asistencia, providing legal advice to multiple areas. Throughout my career, I have applied my knowledge in legal and compliance matters, establishing legal structures according to the company’s line of business, always seeking  the viability and benefit of the business, without putting it at risk.
