Currently the Chief Legal Officer of Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Amitabh Lal Das is a seasoned and successful General Counsel, a C suite corporate leader, possessing more than thirty years of rich domestic and international experience across the entire spectrum of legal practice, viz. litigation in courts, senior lawyer in law firms, and General Counsel in United States, Korean and Indian companies in varied sectors encompassing technology services and global capability centres, internet, media, advertising, related aspects of telecom, financial services, and automotive manufacturing and sales.

Amitabh has excelled not just as a legal practitioner and mentor but counts as a significant achievement his zeal in completing sixteen half marathons.

He serves as a Faculty on the Global General Counsel Academy run under the aegis of King’s College London. Just last month, Amitabh was felicitated as a Global Power Leader at the Global Leadership Conclave 2025, at the House of Lords.
