Carlos is a Colombian-qualified attorney with over 15 years of experience in legal, compliance, and corporate affairs. He currently serves as head of legal, compliance, corporate social responsibility, and government r elations at Mazda de Colombia.
Throughout his career, Carlos has worked across different industries in both in-house roles and private practice, building a solid foundation in commercial and labour law, corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and public-private engagement. His approach emphasises delivering clear, business-aligned legal guidance while upholding high standards of integrity and risk awareness.
At Mazda, Carlos leads several core support functions and serves as a key advisor to senior leadership. His responsibilities include internal policy development, regulatory oversight, and institutional engagement, all contributing to a culture of transparency and sound decision-making.
