Lisa Marcuzzi is Vice President, Head of Corporate Affairs, Legal, and Diversity & Inclusion at ArcelorMittal Dofasco. She is responsible for all legal, compliance, company secretarial, governance, corporate communications, sustainable development, government relations and trade, and diversity and inclusion matters.
In addition, Lisa serves as Regional General Counsel, Canada, ArcelorMittal, overseeing all legal, compliance, company secretarial, and governance matters across ArcelorMittal’s Canadian business units. She is also a member of ArcelorMittal Dofasco’s Pension Committee and Audit and Risk Committee.
As ArcelorMittal Dofasco’s first Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Lisa established the company’s standalone D&I department. Under her leadership, the company was named one of Forbes Canada’s Best Employers for Diversity in 2023 and received the ArcelorMittal Performance Excellence Award for Responsible Leadership for its D&I roadshow.
Before joining ArcelorMittal, Lisa was a partner at the Toronto office of an international law firm, where she led a broad corporate and commercial law practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, infrastructure financing, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Lisa is an active member of her community. She currently serves on the National Board of Directors of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, the Board of Directors of the Royal Botanical Gardens, and is a member of both Legal Leaders for Diversity and Women General Counsel Canada (WGCC).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Business from the University of Windsor. In 2023, she completed Harvard’s Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership Programme.
