This includes collaboration with other departments and being seen as a trusted advisor. A modern in-house counsel should also be mindful of the financial impact of legal actions and advice. This involves managing legal budgets effectively, seeking cost-efficient legal solutions, and balancing the costs and benefits of pursuing certain legal strategies.
