Pier Terblanche is a senior corporate (M&A)/commercial lawyer and experienced general counsel with more than 20 years’ legal, compliance, and corporate governance experience. 

Prior to his current general counsel role at Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden), a top 10 global listed mining company, Terblanche served as in-house counsel at listed mining majors Anglo American Plc and AngloGold Ashanti, and the Dubai Government owned Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), practiced as a corporate partner in the Dubai office of an international law firm, and held the position of global general counsel and company secretary at an industry-leading multinational.
