Career Biography

Dante Ontaneda González is a qualified lawyer from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres, with a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. I also completed the Strategic Management Programme at the Business School of the Universidad de Piura, and have undertaken further studies in risk management, finance for lawyers, administrative law, sustainability, compliance, among other areas.

I previously served as Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Production – Vice Ministry of Fisheries, and have been providing legal counsel to Pesquera Exalmar S.A.A. since 2009.

This year, I took part in the financing and acquisition of Pesquera Centinela, one of the most significant transactions in the fishing sector in recent years.
