Legal team size: My L&A team is composed of approximately 200 individuals, broken across two towers. The Legal team has approximately 70 legal and legal support professionals. I also serve as Chief Administration Officer with oversight of core corporate functions (Procurement, Travel, Environmental, Safety, Health, Security, Enterprise Risk Management, among others). The Administration team includes approximately 130 corporate professionals.

What are the projects that you are most proud of working on over the past 12 months?
Cultivating a high-performing Legal & Administration team responsible for the delivery of key corporate services and risk mitigation that also plays a critical role in shaping business strategy and serving as a growth partner is my proudest achievement at Unisys. Our L&A team works closely with business units and functional teams alike to navigate regulatory complexities, improve outcomes and safeguard business continuity.
Based on your experiences in the past year, are there any trends in the legal or business world that you are keeping an eye on that you think other in-house lawyers should be mindful of?
Recently, we have seen a blistering pace of regulatory and legal change. To stay ahead, we prioritised the adoption of AI-driven tools that enhance agile response — from software that accelerates deal execution and service delivery to chatbots offering 24/7/365 real-time guidance — allowing the team to work faster and smarter. Yet, technology is an enabler, not a replacement for the human oversight still needed for nuanced decision-making. The goal for inhouse teams should be to strike the right balance — leveraging AI for efficiency yet championing high-performing talent empowered to solution in a dynamic business environment.
