What are the projects that you are most proud of working on over the past 12 months?

The development of the compliance function to align with the current regulatory environment and European and local regulations and recommendations.
What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess?
To listen and adapt legal and compliance requirements, to the extent possible, to the business needs of your company and clients, to be versatile and solution oriented, always seeing the challenge behind any obstacle. And, of course, to be a guide for your team, helping them to enhance their knowledge and skills, each at their own pace, and help them to reach their objectives so that they can help you to reach yours.
Based on your experiences in the past year, are there any trends in the legal or business world that you are keeping an eye on that you think other in-house lawyers should be mindful of?
The evolution of the AML/CFT framework (European and legal regulations and recommendations) is something to be closely monitored so that appropriate measures (policy updates…) are implemented and sufficient resources (staff, tools…) are allocated.
What is a cause, business or otherwise, that you are passionate about?
As a mother, I’m passionate about my kids’ views of the world they live in and what their plan is to adapt to it without losing themselves. I’m very curious to see what they, and the next generations, will accomplish.
