Career Biography

A trained lawyer, Jean-François Vaquieri joined the EDF Group in 1994 after beginning his career at the Paris Bar. He has held various positions in both France and abroad, in legal and financial domains, and was notably responsible for asset acquisitions in Eastern Europe. In 2004, he became Chief Financial Officer of the electricity distribution business, and in 2007, he was appointed Director of Studies within the Group Strategy Division. In 2010, he became Legal Director of ERDF, and in 2013, he was named Director of Real Estate and Insurance for the EDF Group. He joined Enedis in 2015 as Director of Regulation and Legal Affairs and was appointed Secretary General of Enedis in 2019. He also served as President of the Union nationale des PIMMS Médiation and has been vice-president of the UFE since December 2024.

Jean-François Vaquieri is an Officer of the National Order of Merit and has been awarded a medal as a voluntary reservist for defense and internal security.
