Julie Ojwaya is currently the legal counsel for M-Pesa Africa, the largest FinTech in Africa whose mission is to drive financial inclusion across Africa while transforming the lives of Africans. Julie prides herself in being a business-oriented counsel for the business that she supports focusing on offering solutions and providing tangible real-time value to drive impact and growth.

Julie is a GLC 500 Powerlist listed counsel and has been an in-house counsel in various organisations for over a decade and is driven by playing a part in social impact with her main goal being to ensure that Africans are able to innovate and create their own solutions to their own problems and needs, as we understand them best.

Julie looks forward to the LSK In-house Counsel Caucus as she hopes to meet and learn from fellow in-house counsels as she networks while enjoying the serene environment in Emara.
