How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience? 

The industry has witnessed a rapid advance in technology and events such as cyber-attacks and, most recently, an increased uncertainty in the world, which all add to a sense of unpredictability and perhaps even crisis. While we can improve a lot by using new technologies, this also makes us vulnerable to power cuts and cyber-attacks, for example.

Therefore, we are prioritising risk management, focusing on key deliveries to both DEAS and our customers. Securing adequate processes in times of crisis or to prevent and deal with unexpected events and access to data are key focus points for us.

What are the major cases or transactions you have been involved in recently? 

PHM Denmark’s acquisition of DEAS A/S from Montagu Private Equity. As per August 1st, 2024, PHM DK acquired DEAS A/S from Montagu Private Equity. This marked the provisional end to a long and intensive period for the legal team and DEAS as well. The legal team was deeply involved in the process and contributed significantly to the execution of the transaction and the subsequent integration.
