The Colombian legal unit at Fox Networks Group Latin America, a US headquartered television and media company, was set up in 2009 by seasoned professional Adriana Sinisterra to provide legal assistance across Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and the Caribbean. Since then, the department has evolved into an indispensable element of the Company that is involved in virtually every deal across Latin America, as well as working alongside sales and senior management to implement the company decisions and strategy. To enable the business to move onto new projects smoothly and in a timely manner, while ensuring compliance with changing legislations, the team has undertaken training sessions for executives on how to handle new lines of business. The team supports all commercial and operative departments in issues related to commercial, production and service provider negotiations. Other areas of strong performance for Sinisterra and her team have included their work on compliance across the region.
