Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?
In one of our business segments — heavily present in the region I am responsible for — we mapped out the main distribution models and, together with external counsel, developed detailed guidelines on do’s and don’ts regarding antitrust law (EU Vertical Block Exemption Regulation). We use the guidelines for workshops and as a handout for our sales and procurement staff.
Apart from legal matters, has the team worked on other company initiatives?
Yes. Compliance — including ethics, CSR, sustainability, supply chain due diligence — is an integral part of our Legal and Compliance function.
