Career Biography

I am a seasoned legal leader with over 25 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector and supply chain management, specialising in providing comprehensive and strategic solutions in the legal and security domains. Currently, I serve as the Legal and Security Director at Backus, Peru’s leading brewing company and a part of the Anheuser-Busch InBev group, the world’s largest beer producer.

In this capacity, I lead a multidisciplinary team of over ten professionals, actively participating in the design and implementation of policies and procedures related to corporate governance, compliance, data privacy, intellectual property, antitrust, advertising, consumer protection, and crisis management. My experience also encompasses mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate reorganisations, and dispute resolution, all focused on delivering results and adding value to the organisation.

My mission is to ensure regulatory compliance, uphold our license to operate, and mitigate legal and security risks while fostering an ethical, innovative, and sustainable corporate culture.
