Career biography

Angela Manzoni was born in the province of Padua, Italy, in 1976. She graduated in Law from the University of Padua and was admitted to the Bar at the Court of Appeal in Venice.

Angela is a seasoned legal executive with extensive international experience across the manufacturing and fashion and luxury sectors. Over the course of her career, she has developed recognised expertise in international law, corporate law, contract management, and high-level negotiations, establishing herself as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams and boards of directors in complex, multinational environments.

She joined STIGA Group in 2019 as Group General Counsel, where she assumed responsibility for the company’s global legal affairs. In August 2021, she was appointed Senior Vice President, HR & Legal, a role that broadened her remit to encompass legal oversight of the Group, corporate governance, shareholder relations, and direct engagement with the Board of Directors. She is a member of the Executive Management Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

In this capacity, Angela has played a pivotal role in strengthening the Group’s governance framework and ensuring rigorous oversight of legal, compliance, and risk management matters. Her ability to align legal strategy with corporate objectives has been instrumental in supporting the Group’s growth agenda and in safeguarding its long-term interests. Under her leadership, the Legal Department has evolved from a transactional support function into a strategic business partner, contributing actively to international expansion and value creation.

Beyond her legal responsibilities, Angela also oversees the Human Resources function for the Group. She has been a driving force behind STIGA’s internationalisation strategy and cultural transformation, implementing a structured investment plan designed to promote collaboration, cohesion, and a unified “one business” mindset across all subsidiaries. Her leadership has been critical in reinforcing organisational alignment and in fostering a performance-oriented yet inclusive corporate culture.

As the Group Gender Equality Officer, Angela leads initiatives to embed diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity at the core of the organisation’s people strategy. She has been instrumental in designing and implementing policies that remove systemic barriers, promote meritocracy, and support the professional development of all employees. Her work in this area reflects a strong commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability, positioning the Group as an employer of choice in competitive international markets.

Angela combines legal acumen, strategic insight, and people leadership in a manner that has consistently advanced the Group’s business objectives. Her track record of advising boards, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and driving organisational transformation underscores her reputation as a highly capable and forward-looking executive.
