Sachin Kanabar is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Spin Master, a leading global children’s entertainment company. Appointed in January 2024, he oversees all aspects of the company’s global legal function and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. In this role, Sachin provides strategic counsel on global operations, M&A and enterprise risk, supporting Spin Master’s growth and innovation across its three creative segments: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games.

With more than a decade of experience as a senior legal executive, Sachin has built a career at the intersection of law, business strategy and leadership. Before joining Spin Master, he served as Chief Legal Officer of Iovate Health Sciences International, a multinational CPG company and leader in nutritional foods. Earlier, he held senior legal leadership roles at LG Electronics Canada as General Counsel and at The Source as Vice President, Legal. Sachin began his career at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, one of Canada’s leading corporate law firms.

Sachin is widely recognized for integrating legal strategy with business objectives to drive sustainable growth. He has led transformative initiatives, including international expansion projects and the development of enterprise compliance and risk management frameworks. His approach emphasises proactive engagement with business leaders, enabling the legal function to act as a driver of opportunity and innovation rather than a constraint.
