Position

Emma is a partner in our banking & finance team based across the Birmingham and Nottingham offices and acts for a range of clients – a mix of UK banks, plc and limited companies, private equity houses and debt funds. 

Within finance Emma covers corporate and leverage finance, property (both investment and development finance), asset based lending and derivatives. 

Emma is a member of the firms leading independent healthcare practice and in addition has particular experience advising main market and AIM listed borrowers on obtaining debt funding from banks and debt funds.  She also frequently acts for banks lending to plc businesses.  More specifically, Emma has strong experience of advising on debt fund lending.

Paul Ray advised Santander on a £5.4m financing of a management buyout of Clamason Industries sponsored by Connection Capital, and on the borrower side advised Local Space Housing Association on a £75m private placement.
