Sophie Ashcroft
Position
Sophie is a dispute resolution partner specialising in technology disputes. She has particular expertise in disputes arising from complex IT projects, digital transformation, outsourcing and managed services. She helps clients to manage risk in ongoing projects and get distressed projects back on track. Where issues cannot be resolved, she advises on strategies for termination, handover and exit.
In addition, Sophie regularly resolves disputes involving misuse of confidential information, shareholder and board disputes, and is experienced in bringing and defending claims for all types of relief, including claims for loss of profits, wasted expenditure, declaratory relief, injunctions, and judicial review. She acts for both national and international clients across a variety of sectors, including technology, entertainment, telecoms, outsourcing, and financial institutions.
