Career

Guyanne is an associate in the healthcare, advisory and litigation team. She specialises in defending clinical negligence claims brought against NHS Trusts, GPs and independent healthcare practitioners.

Guyanne has worked exclusively as a defendant healthcare solicitor since qualifying. Prior to joining Browne Jacobson, she worked at other NHS Resolution panel firms in London and undertook a six-month secondment at a large NHS Trust based in the South East. She has particular experience in defending cases concerning oncology, orthopaedic surgery and general practice. Guyanne has experience in case handling at all stages of the litigation process. She also regularly engages in mediation and other forms of ADR. She deals with procedurally challenging issues in a robust way in order to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Guyanne prides herself on having a good manner with clients and witnesses and seeks to ensure that they are supported as far as possible throughout the litigation process.
