Carlos Pérez Dávila

Carlos Pérez Dávila has extensive experience in the finance sector, having advised financial institutions, funds, corporations and multinational companies throughout his professional career, on all types of DCM transactions, including securitisations, structured finance transactions, issues of corporate bonds, regulatory capital, high yields and mortgage market instruments, as well as on portfolio acquisitions, including distressed assets.

Carmen Reyna is an expert in mergers and acquisitions and private equity. She advises national and international clients on all types of private equity deals. She has participated as a legal advisor, in minority and majority share acquisitions (MBOs, MBIs and BIMBOs) and in settled acquisitions (LBOs, LBIs and LMBOs).

Clara Jiménez advises national and foreign clients within all branches of tax law and foreign trade. She specialises in obtaining tax rulings from tax authorities, in tax audits and appeals before judicial instances, in procedural matters as well as in direct and indirect taxation.

Cosme Colmenero joined Pérez-Llorca in 2020 as Counsel in the Corporate practice, specifically in the area of Restructuring and Insolvency and became a partner in 2022.

Cristina Duch is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Barcelona and leader of the EMEA Brand Enforcement & Disputes Practice Group of the Firm. She has significant experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters, with particular emphasis on trademarks, designs, unfair competition and advertisement. She is a member of the Spanish Institute of Chartered Industrial Property Agents. Cristina provides general and contractual advice and handles litigious work before civil, commercial and community courts. Javier joined Pérez-Llorca’s Corporate practice area in 2022. Prior to this, he was a partner in the commercial practice of the Madrid office of a Big Four. He previously worked in a Magic Circle firm, and was part of the team that founded the Barcelona office. He has also served on the legal teams of another professional services firm and the Magic Circle.

Javier Carvajal

Joaquín Ruiz Echauri

Joaquín Ruiz Echauri has over 25 years of experience providing corporate, regulatory and litigious advice for the insurance and reinsurance industry. During his career he has worked with major national and international clients on M&A transactions, bancassurance alliances, VIF reinsurance agreements, portfolio transfers and reorganisations and all types of corporate matters. In the area of regulation, he has provided advice on product design, contract interpretation, insurance and reinsurance distribution and pension plans and funds. Juan Rodríguez Cárcamo is a Spanish State Advocate (Abogado del Estado) on leave of absence with extensive experience in EU litigation. Expert in regulated sectors (energy, telecommunications, media, and pharmaceuticals).

Julio regularly advises national and international investors on investments in non-performing assets, including debt and real estate assets, as well as on all kinds of legal proceedings related to the management of such investments.
