Pérez-Llorca

Guillermo joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2017. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for several years as a lawyer in the Criminal Law (Investigations, White Collar & Fraud) department of an American law firm.

Guillermo has more than 12 years of experience advising senior executives, individuals and corporate groups both national and international on white‑collar criminal matters, providing counsel in pre‑contentious scenarios as well as in complex criminal proceedings. His practice covers a wide range of economic and corporate criminal offences, including fraud, misappropriation, breach of trust, insolvency‑related offences, corruption, corporate crimes and money laundering. He also has extensive experience in tax and social security offences, particularly in complex tax fraud investigations involving opaque corporate structures, as well as offences against workers’ rights, environmental crimes and offences involving public administration, such as bribery, embezzlement and influence peddling. Guillermo regularly participates in national and international internal investigations for Spanish and foreign companies, focusing on detecting accounting irregularities, corrupt practices, internal fraud and conflicts of interest in sectors exposed to significant criminal and reputational risks. He also advises frequently on the design, review and update of criminal compliance programmes. In addition, he has taken part in some of the most relevant extradition proceedings in Spain in recent years, representing the interests of foreign governments.
